Mantra Academy partners with Ultraviolette to collaborate on its automotive design training programs. This will enable Mantra’s training to focus on all aspects of vehicle development, from concept to prototype – the way the industry does it.

Students will receive industry mentoring through this collaboration. In addition, through Masterclasses and Workshops, they will acquire hands-on experience in Perspective Sketching, Ideation, Concept Development, Surface Modeling, Photo-Realistic Rendering, Clay modeling, Virtual Reality, UI/UX (vehicle console), and Portfolio Development from the experts themselves.

From sketch to clay – automotive design training at Mantra Academy, Bangalore

Ultraviolette is one of India’s most promising EV companies, run by Mr. Narayan Subramaniam, the company’s CEO and Co-Founder. Narayan is an accomplished transportation designer. He is also the creative director at Mantra Academy, where he mentors and trains students pursuing the “Design and Research” program.

The real impact of this partnership is that the experts from Ultraviolette will conduct master classes, workshops, and demonstrations for the candidates pursuing automotive design training at Mantra academy. Furthermore, the final three months of training will include an industry project. Therefore, the students must work together to create a complete vehicle development project from sketch to prototype under a mentor from the industry.

Ultimately, the collaboration between Mantra Academy and Ultraviolette will allow anyone to learn a fast-paced, project-based curriculum from the experts.

The partnership will be effective for the courses starting from August 2022 onward. We will be working closely with Ultraviolette to ensure that our students have the best possible learning experience through this new initiative.

The changes are applicable for both the following courses.

  • Automotive Design and Research
  • Automotive Digital Design
